Portugal implements insurance distribution directive

The Portuguese government has approved the Law 7/2019, of 16 January, which implemented the EU Insurance Directive, and sets forth important regime innovations applicable to to insurers/reinsurers and distributors operating in Portugal, the most relevant of which are described in this [Newsletter].
