Pedro Furtado Martins is a Partner in the Labour practice and has strong experience in providing services in the full range of Labour Law matters related to individual and collective employment relationships and social security issues. He combines his practice as a lawyer with teaching at the Law Faculty of the Catholic University and his membership to a number of bodies specialising in Labour Law: he is a member of the Commission responsible for reviewing the Portuguese Labour Code, a Chairman Arbitrator of the Economic and Labour Council and is responsible for preparing the Annual Report on Collective Bargaining in Portugal. He is also author of several books and papers related to Labour Law.
