Thinking Competition - Antitrust in Labour Markets

In this episode of our Thinking Competition podcast, Gonçalo Machado Borges is joined by Eric Posner, Professor of Law at the University of Chicago, to discuss antitrust issues in labour markets. Eric Posner has written extensively on a wide range of legal subjects and was Counsel to the Assistant Attorney General in the Antitrust Division in the U.S. Department of Justice in 2022-2023. In 2021 he published ‘How Antitrust Failed Workers’ and today we discuss enforcement trends on matters such as non-poach restrictions and wage-fixing, including how these matters should be addressed in the context of merger control.
