Transfer of Large Loan Portfolios – Legal Regime Simplified

The Portuguese government has enacted the Decree-Law nr. 42/2019, of 28 March, which is aimed at simplifying the legal regime applicable to the transfer of large loan portfolios, on matters such as legal form of the transfer agreement, registration requirements and accession to court proceedings.
